When Christy doesn’t pick up her phone, Tommy goes to see her and finds a party in full swing at her place. It’s her engagement party, prompting Tommy to seek some answers from Christy and plead with her to come back to him.

Tommy’s sister urges him to forget Christy. Tommy audaciously breaks into his probation officer’s apartment while she and her son are away.

Tommy’s old criminal associate, Gray, shows up again with a seriously tempting offer for Tommy. Tommy, resolute, attends another meeting with his parole officer, who seems to have had a change of heart about his work options.

Tommy’s criminal ex-associate Gray comes to his rescue, and soon Tommy seems convinced to work with him again. Tommy’s sister is appalled at the idea, and tells him so in no uncertain terms. When Ethan stops by to see him, Tommy is no longer at the house.

As Tommy leaves for the airport with Gray, he calls his sister to tell her he's headed out of town. She races to stop him, and tells him that Ethan is missing.

Acknowledging that his sister's chicanery has revealed his true hopes for his future, Tommy returns to Angela to explain how he feels about her and to invite her and Ethan over for dinner.
