Isaac visits one of America’s most well-loved settings for outdoor adventure, Yosemite National Park, which is famous for its iconic granite peaks, waterfalls, and roaming bears!

Isaac and his dog, Bucket, are our guides for a road trip across the great open landscape that forms the United States of America. From vast swathes of Kansas farmland and Colorado’s Rocky Mountain ranges to the expansive salt flats at Bonneville, we’re certainly getting a taste for the open road!

Isaac hikes to visit a waterfall in Canada’s Fundy National Park. The wooded and rocky park is at the end of the Appalachian mountain range and has a shoreline on the Bay of Fundy, which has some of the most dramatic tides in the world.

Isaac travels by van through North America with his wife and his dog. Today he stops off in Quebec, Canada to tell us a little about the culture, cuisine, and most famous landmarks of this old city.

Finally home! Sigrid talks about her trip home and how it feels to be back after a month away.

For the final days of Sigrid's visit to the New York area, she leaves the rocky North Shore and goes south to a place she knows very well from her childhood—the beach! It's a nice place to visit even in the cooler weather.

Let's look at how Long Island was formed around 20,000 years ago. It has to do with a glacier that brought plenty of material along with it and left some behind when it receded.

We're back on Long Island, exploring the North Shore with an outing to a wildlife refuge on one of the necks, or small peninsulas that jut into the Long Island Sound, the body of water separating Long Island from Connecticut.

This last part about the D&R canal talks about the special bridges that were needed to cross the canal and who had to take care of them. We've finally made it to Manhattan, the smallest but most densely populated borough. When we think of New York City, Manhattan is more often than not what comes to mind. This is part 1.

It's time to have a look at Staten Island, the 4th borough out of 5. It looks closer to New Jersey than to the rest of New York City and has some other peculiarities.

To get from eastern Long Island to the city, travelers and commuters have to go through Queens, so this borough naturally became a very important transit hub, with Jamaica at its center. It also became crisscrossed with many expressways for vehicles.
