In part 9, Robin tries to get Tommy's attention, but he's too busy flirting with other girls. Meanwhile, the tension among the gymnasts is about to boil over!

The other girls on the team are not happy when Robin gets selected to go to the regional meet. Luckily, her friends are on her side.

Things are looking up for Robin, who finally makes her feelings clear to Tommy and has a nice talk with her mother about the upcoming regional gymnastics meet.

In one of Doctor Who’s most memorable scenes, the doctor takes Vincent Van Gogh forward in time to see an exhibition of his paintings at the Musée d'Orsay. There, an art expert explains how Vincent became one of the greatest and most beloved painters in history. The scene is especially moving because Van Gogh struggled during his lifetime and received little recognition for his work.

Tommy is annoyed with his sister for arriving late to pick him up after his release from prison, and her crazy excuses and erratic driving do nothing to calm his nerves. To make things worse, his brother-in-law isn’t overjoyed to see him, and not everyone is fully aware of where he’s been these last three years!”

Tommy heads off to a place that holds special memories for him. Later on, his prison habits make fitting into a family meal difficult, and his sister sends away his first visitor from the past.

Tommy’s sister, Viki, is taking a very active role in controlling his new life outside of prison. In his meeting with a new probation officer, he immediately makes a bad impression before promising her that he's determined to get his life back on track.
