Oxford, Mississippi is described as a fine, small, southern town but there is definitely something that makes it stand out from other fine, small, southern towns: it’s the home of William Faulkner’s tomb, not only a great destination for literary tourism but also for the most bohemian expressions of Oxford’s alcohol-fueled youth. Music, food, friends, books, and booze? What more could you ask for?

Tango has its roots in Argentina, but today this dance of love and passion can be found worldwide. Few places outside of Buenos Aires embrace the close embrace like San Francisco, California. On the street, San Franciscans demand their personal space, but at the milonga, distance falls away like the sun setting on the Golden Gate Bridge. Isaac travels by van through North America with his wife and his dog. Today he stops off in Quebec, Canada to tell us a little about the culture, cuisine, and most famous landmarks of this old city.

Isaac visits one of America’s most well-loved settings for outdoor adventure, Yosemite National Park, which is famous for its iconic granite peaks, waterfalls, and roaming bears!

Isaac hikes to visit a waterfall in Canada’s Fundy National Park. The wooded and rocky park is at the end of the Appalachian mountain range and has a shoreline on the Bay of Fundy, which has some of the most dramatic tides in the world.

Isaac and his dog, Bucket, are our guides for a road trip across the great open landscape that forms the United States of America. From vast swathes of Kansas farmland and Colorado’s Rocky Mountain ranges to the expansive salt flats at Bonneville, we’re certainly getting a taste for the open road!

Sigrid traveled back to the U.S. recently to visit her family. She talks about her trip and takes some "detours" to share what she learned about some of the places she visited. She also happened to go to Mexico, where she shot this introductory segment.

The borough of the Bronx has gotten a bad name because of issues with poverty and crime. It's also had its share of neglect and mishandling on the part of local and state administrations. However, the Bronx also has some claims to fame, such as the Bronx zoo and botanical garden.
