Robin runs into problems with her stepfather as he reminds her that the family business is to come before her gym team. Her family dynamics prove to be a challenge to her.

The other girls on the team are not happy when Robin gets selected to go to the regional meet. Luckily, her friends are on her side.

Things are looking up for Robin, who finally makes her feelings clear to Tommy and has a nice talk with her mother about the upcoming regional gymnastics meet.

Just when things are looking up for Tommy and Robin, Robin suddenly receives an urgent phone call.

Robin mourns the loss of her mother and moves out of her stepfather's house. However, she is still determined to compete in the upcoming meet.

Robin receives another crushing blow, but she doesn't let herself get discouraged and trains even harder!
