Monty Python were a surreal comedy group who created the BBC show Monty Python's Flying Circus. Their comedic sketches were sewn together by the phrase “And now for something completely different,“ and their show was, in fact, completely different. They revolutionized TV comedy, as much as the Beatles had music, via their irreverent jeering at the establishment, their zany recreations of history, and their wildly absurd takes on daily life.
