Jimmy Carter about Forrest Gump: A lesser actor would have been branded by this character forever! Tom was able to move in, move on and add to his resume. Next to Billy Bob’s character in Slingblade, can you think of a more copied voice or folks trying to talk like Forrest? Pretty is as pretty does right? This guy is the best all around actor of my generation!
