Big Country-The Storm

video thumbnail

The evocative lyrics from “The Storm” by the Scottish band Big Country are thought to be inspired by the Jacobite risings of the 18th Century. The name "Jacobite" comes from Jacobus, the Latin form of James, and the lyrics "My James" refers to those loyal to James VII of Scotland and his descendants.
