The letter "S" has a couple of different sounds. It's a very important letter because it's used to form the plural of many nouns as well as the third person singular of verbs.

"Issues" is the very personal debut single by American singer and songwriter Julia Michaels, recorded for her extended play, Nervous System. The song received a Grammy Award nomination for Song of the Year at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.

In the video, Sheeran's girlfriend is portrayed by the actress Zoey Deutch.

"T" is for "tricky." Depending on what letters "T" is combined with or next to, it is pronounced differently. Sigrid explains and gives some examples.

"U" is an interesting vowel, and has a few different sounds. It can even sound like the consonant "Y," and combines with other vowels to make new sounds.

The Hooters, a Philadelphia rock band, has received a lot of attention in Europe, and particularly in Germany. The song and video raise awareness about the homeless who “sleep all night on a pillow of stone.”

Julia and Rachael are young American women living in Berlin. Maggie, a friend of theirs from the United States, is coming for a visit. They are pretty excited about Maggie's arrival.

Australians Kylie Minogue and Nick Cave of the band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds sing a beautiful but macabre duet about a man who brought his sweetheart to a river and killed her. A 19th century Irish song entitled “Down in the Willow Garden” inspired Cave to write the song.

Ralph and Jack part ways over the fire that was supposed to burn at all times to alert passing aircraft of their presence. The boys divide into two camps.

The three girls are happy to be reunited, and Maggie gets settled into the apartment. She feels lucky to have such good friends.

"V" is a voiced consonant. "Voice" starts with "V." We make the sound with the upper teeth lightly touching the lower lip, like "F" but with the voice, too. It vibrates. The verb "to vibrate" also starts with "V." That should make it easy to remember.

The three friends have breakfast together, do some catching up, and muse about the future. Who knows, will they all end up living together in Berlin one day?
